MISSION & VISION
To empower and sustain caregivers, families, and practitioners who care for others in the non/minimal speaking autistic community.
Through mindful, body-based practices and compassionate community connection, we offer those who give deeply the space to receive.
When supporters are supported, the whole community thrives.
To honor the supporter.
To uplift the supporter.
To value the supporter.
FOUNDER & FACILITATOR
Katie Kittle
It all started with a job search on Indeed.com. I stumbled upon a posting to assist a young autistic adult. A deep nudge urged me to apply — which led me to connecting with a nonspeaking autistic who spells to communicate.
My brain and heart both expanded when we met — especially when I read a note on the wall, “I am a person who awakens other people’s hearts.” I didn’t yet understand the power of those words, spelled out letter by letter, but I could feel their truth. That experience led me to volunteer with Spellers Family Camps through Autistically Inclined, where I continue supporting this community.
It was Joshua’s mother, Amy, who ultimately inspired Support the Supporters. I witnessed her daily challenges, her minimal time for self, and her unwavering, fierce love for her son.
I realized that supporting her was supporting Joshua.
This work was born from that understanding — that when we care for the caregivers, the whole circle of care becomes stronger.
I am passionate about guiding others back to their innate, natural selves through NeuroSomatic support — integrating bodywork, breathwork, and mindful movement.
My approach is intuitive yet grounded in therapeutic techniques, supporting individuals in establishing neuro-muscular pathways to help restore connection within the body, mind + heart.
In my private practice, I offer bodywork and regulation support sessions (in person & online)
